Waste Literacy Education

Our school programs focus on waste literacy with lessons designed to explore our relationship with plastics, the plastic lifecycle, and impacts of plastic debris across aquatic ecosystems. We utilize a mix of hands-on and discussion-based programming that highlights the prevalence of plastic-based materials in our natural environment and what their impact is.

Our programming is aimed at increasing waste literacy and inspiring individuals to take collective action and work towards solutions.

To reduce barriers of accessibility, our waste literacy programming and materials are provided at no-charge. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to access materials, participate in science-based learning and help inspire positive actions towards waste reduction.

Waste Literacy at home
